Ethan is an associate in White & Case's Dispute Resolution group based in London. He has a broad practice in complex cross-border commercial litigation and international arbitration.
Before joining the Dispute Resolution group, Ethan also gained experience in bank finance transactions and financial restructurings. He has also completed a secondment to the Firm's Beijing office.
Ethan is actively involved in a number of the Firm's pro bono projects, including the Royal Courts of Justice Citizens Advice Bureau and representing appellants at the First Tier Disability Benefits Appeal Tribunal.
Representing an aviation company in relation to a contractual dispute with a Turkish airline in the English High Court.
Representing an HKSE and ASX listed mining company in the English High Court relating to alleged breaches of a tax indemnity and tax warranties contained in a sale and purchase agreement.
Representing the lead member of an international contractor consortium in an ICC arbitration against a government entity, in relation to claims and counter-claims concerning a major rail project in Southern Europe.
Advising a hedge fund on its claims under a scheme of arrangement in relation to the Lehman Brothers International (Europe) estate.
